Hello,  I am hoping someone can help me out, I recently read Patricia Brigg's short story in Strange Brew and was wondering if the characters from it ( a Witch named Moira Keller, and a werewolf named Tom) are in any of her novels?  I have the first book in the Mercedes Thompson series on order but it looks like these are different characters.

thanks

Mike

Mike, I've read the Mercy Thompson books, the Alpha & Omega (Bk 1 of 2)  & Dragon Bones (Bk 1 of 2). The Witch Moira doesn't appear in any of these series so far, but the werewolf universe referred to in the anthology is the same as in Mercy and A & O. Moira was quite an interesting character & I wonder if there will be any overlap sometime. Cry Wolf (A&O) featured a nasty witch....

These characters are in Mercy's World.  I have heard that in Patricia Briggs "Hunting Ground" which comes out the end of this month we find  Moira & Tom.  This is Briggs 2nd Alpha & Omega book which we find Charles (Bran's son) and Anna.  "Cry Wolf" is the 1st Alpha & Omega.

I also love the world of Mercy Thompson and can't wait for her next book!

Oh, Norma, I'm glad to hear that we will see Moira again! She was a wonderful character & it makes sense that she would appear in the next A & O as they just fought off that "bad" witch in Book 1

Edited to add:  I've got Book 2 on order from Amazon, I liked Cry Wolf so much!

I have "Hunting Ground" on my WL here, but I am # l57 so it will be awhile!  I personally like the Mercedes Thompson books better as I like those characters a little more.  Not that I don't like Charles, Bran, and the Northern Pack.  I really liked the short story in "On the Prowl" anthology, but I just can't get into Anna.  I have no idea why because I was really excited when Charles got his own book.  I really like strong lead characters and she just fell short for me.  Just my opinion...................don't anyone beat me up over it!
