This is not the Christian version. Robin rewrote the "Coming to America" series after she became a Christian.

Well I got a big surprise when I was given this book several years back. I had no expectations because I had never read any books by her. It turned out to be a beautifully written love story. If your looking for a "bodice ripper' this is not it. But to read a truly romantic story, one that touches your heart, this is it. I didn't realize it was a part of her series Coming To America till after I read the book. It didn't matter to this book at all, it stands alone just fine.

This book was very similar to the "Love comes softly" series.

I really enjoyed this book. A simple love story between a girl newly arrived in this country and a man stuck by obligation to raise his brothers children and work his farm.

Book #2 in the Coming to America series. Inga Linberg has come from Sweden with her family and expected to be her father's assistant for the rest of her life. Life took an unexpected turn when she became a housekeeper to the Bridger family. She felt like she had asked too much and then was punished for it. I enjoyed the story and the characters.

Interesting book, not as good as the others in this series. Doesn't "flow" as well as I like in a novel. Not her best, but a good read.

I love the old Hatcher books like this one. Her newer stuff I'm not crazy about. This is a sweet love story that will have you dying to see how it's going to end!
