This book contains the first three novels by Monica Ferris. The stories center around a needlework shop and each novel has a pattern as well. I found the series made much more sense after I went back and started with the first novel (I had originally started much later in the series).

The characters are likable, the storyline was easy to follow, and I just love that the main character is learning to knit as the stories progress. It's a lovely, cozy series, perfect for the crafter who loves mysteries!

Very cleverly done. The characters are interesting and I learned some new things about needlework. The plots are believable and just surprising enough to hold my interest. Well-written. If you like needlework and mysteries, then you will probably like these stories.
