Does anyone know of a christian author using a pen name?   I was hoping to fit one into my reading challenge this year.   Thanks!

Thanks!

I just found out Annie Jones is a pen name also.   There are so many.   Why does an author chose to use a pen name?

I think for a lot of reasons, women used to use pen names of men so that they could be published and people would actually buy them.  Now, I think it's a matter of privacy.  It's actually pretty hard to find out current authors who are using a pen name and most likely there are way more than we could possibly that are under a pen name that noone knows is a pen name.  Authors that for example are America and are writing a book in Chinese usually use a Chinese pen name so it is easier to remember for the readers.

I found a website that said some people used anagrams to make their pen names and this is a generator.  It's interesting

I see that some women use their first name but a different last name. Judy Baer is really Judy Duenow, Kimberly Stuart is really Kimberly Welge and Janice Thompson is also writing as Janice Hanna (I have books of hers by both names).
