Do you know this series? I wonder if they are worth getting. The subject is usually a famous person but the bio is so short I am a little uncertain about requesting one. There are many very interesting subjects and they are tempting.

I have a friend who is a librarian and he admits to reading them when they pass through the book return and he recommended them.  I've never read them but maybe will add to my TBR.  After all, it isn't like there isn't room there.  HA!

I got one about Winston Churchill. I'm tempted to try the one for Napolean.

I have not read the one about Churchill yet. I did read the one about Branch Rickey by Jimmy Breslin. It was a little above average. I enjoyed it. Right now I am reading the one about Marcel Proust by Edmund White. I think this book might be the first book in the series.

One nice thing about the series they get requested pretty frequently. I sent off the Rickey one fairly quickly.
