Another post made me think of this and I wondered - do people actually use the PBS address as their return address? Do they do so in order that no one knows their actual address? Just curious. Pat |

Hey Pat! I just got one today that had the PBS address on it. LOL I have rec'd over 300 books, and only 2 or 3 have had the PBS addy on them. I'm sure it's for "safety" purposes. |

I do. Obviously no one using this site is super concerned with Internet privacy, but I just feel more comfortable using it. As someone pointed out in another thread, it would be very easy to get someone's address just by ordering a book from them. PBS had a book I sent get "returned" to them one time and mailed it on for me (charging a credit for the postage.) I was very impressed! |

This thread reminds me, I mailed a book today to someone whose first and last name doubles as a two word fictional location that the fellowship travels to in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Methinks someone is using a pen name, and it made my day to mail something to this person. |

"Internet privacy" is actually an oxymoron. |
