This is a great book for those who love epic historical novels. It tells the story or CornSilk and Poor Singer as they seek answers about life and what secrets lay hidden from them. Wonderfully written with memorable characters and a great story. Personally I think you only have to see/hear the names Kathleen O'Neal and W. Michael Gear to know its going to be a great book.

All the books in this series are an excellent read, good story and lots of anthropological information. Each book stands alone but also continues a good storyline.

Seventh of the great anthropologically based series beginning with the settlement of the epi- glacial North American Continent and visiting tribal peoples over the next few thousand years. I loved them all.
