This is one of the most interesting autobiographical works I've read in a long time. Until I saw this book, I just assumed that Pepperidge Farm was nothing more than a faceless brand name. NO WAY!! Not only is Ms. Rudkin interesting, but her recipes are great and her commentary on her antique cookbooks is valuable also!
