PreSchool-K --Pizer takes readers through a day in the life of countryside animals, showing what they enjoy doing and giving their appropriate sound effects. The "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" theme is complete with the repetition of animal sounds and a rebus-style listing of the animals making them. It's a pleasant book, although quite uninspired and with no original twists. The muted illustrations are competent, but lack animation. Still, it does effectively get across certain concepts and could be considered as an additional item for read-aloud sessions.

It is a repeating book about the things that the animals say. Along the lines of there was an old lady who swallowed a fly.
