I am a big fan of Barbara Nadel's Inspector Ikmen series and this is one of the best along with Passion for Killing and Harem. This story revolves around 3 separate investigations that intertwine. Several other characters that were introduced in earlier books are given more important roles. The plot is very original and modern day Istanbul and its varied population again takes on a fascinating role. I have not read this series in order due to scarcity of copies, but each book can stand on its own.
