Elizabeth Moon, author of both the popular Hunting Party and Vatta's War series as well as the earlier series culminating in the LEGEND OF GIRD, has given us an A-1 quality quick overview of her varied styles. Her sometimes quirky humor had me giggling out loud several times (to the great annoyance of the other people in the room with me.)
The stories include some that take place in her DEED OF PAKSENARRION, some Tolkienesque shorts, a couple that are built on her medical background, and some that just came out of nowhere, like The Happy Frog.
According to Moon, she writes short fiction . . . 'because it's there, and I can, and someone nudges me.'
