Kaku uses an informal tone to discuss science-fiction concepts and to consider whether or not they may become possible in the future. It's a fun book, but he still makes some statements that make my eyes cross. The individual words are recognizable, but the physics concepts he's trying to explain are still beyond me. Fun book anyway.
