Mr. Blue was a wonderful man who chatted nearly every day at PBS. He was funny, kind, and loyal to his friends. He was wheelchair bound but never let it drag him down. He suddenly passed away in October 2009 from a massive heart attack. He left behind a broken hearted wife and 2 loving sons. He left behind a legacy of friends who dearly miss him. I put this afghan together in a matter of days and sent it to Mrs. Blue. Here is the email she sent :
Thank you everyone for your condolences. It has been hard after Vincent's passing. He loved everyone here at pbs and would always make time for chat with friends and for everyone who needed him. He was a wonderful person with a beautiful heart...such a strong person who inspired and helped many many people. We miss him greatly, no words can describe.
I wanted to share that I recieved a beautiful heartfelt gift sent by April from

This gift was a beautifully crocheted afghan including every wonderful color you can imagine. This came with a lovely letter that touched my heart to read. Me and the boys will always cherish this and I want to thank all of you from me and our boys. There's so much I want to say it's hard to sum it up into a few paragraphs, so I'll stop now as I'm tearing up at the moment, but I want all of you to know that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and Vincent will always be loved greatly, missed dearly, and remembered forever...
