Little did I know this book was the third one is a series when I picked it up and started reading it. No matter - it can be read as a stand alone and nothing is amiss.

A truly easy-pleasy pirate tale. No swashbuckling sea battles here though, they are on land. Unless you count the ones between the hero and the heroine. They do clash while at sea and at land!

Claire and Nate have loved each other since they were teens at the orphanage. Fate dealt them a lousy hand: Leaving Claire to strike out on her own and Nate taking to the high seas. What ensues is a rolicking good time you are sure to enjoy.
