Is there someplace on this site that I can post large lots of books for sale? I have used Ebay but am not getting good results. I need to clear out my bookshelves to make room for more or have $$ to buy more. ALl of my books are in VGC. But I havent seen anything like that on this site? Is there a forum to sell books too or a different website?? Thanks

K

We do not sell books here.  This is a site to swap books, not sell.

Have you tried listing your books on amazon.  This site is strictly for swaping or trading books with other people.  You can use the BOX of BOOK's feature on here where you can trade large boxes of books with others though you both have to agree on whats being sent.  Since you want books back that might be an option for you.

Members can only swap books here for PBS credit (or free), no money transactions allowed.

If you wish to sell your books, you will need to do so through a website like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Half.com, Abe, etc.

If what you have and what you read is the same as what's on your bookshelf here: you would probably do well with Box of Books.

Try posting something in the Book Bazaar Forum.  Good luck and have fun!

Have you checked for used book stores? Many will take boxes of books and give you either store credit or cash. Usually a lot more store credit than cash, but they might have other things like CD's, DVD's and PC games you can pick up instead.

We just had one open in the old Boarders that closed in our area.

there is a bookstore called half price books.  You can go to their wbsite halfpricebooks.com.  They give you money for your books right there at the store.  Even up to a $1.50 or so for good condition hard covers.

If what you are selling is like what you have on your bookshelf, I don't know if there's any place you can sell them.  At the UBSs and library sales, romances like yours are bundled and sold for about 10-25 cents a book.  Good luck to you.

Being a boxer is a great way to trade a lot of books without using credits.  What is Box of Books?

If you're just looking to get rid of them, try offering a deal in the Book Bazaar forum, like 3 books for 1 credit or something like that.  Hopefully that will move some of them out the door!
