I really think that this book is exceptionally well written, but it doesn't stop me from disliking the mother! She is bright, beautiful and terribly unstable and puts her children through many miseries as they grow, hating and loving her at the same time. I recommend it as a very disturbing story and an excellent look into someone else's life.
