Hi: my name is barb i had to chuckle when i saw you got a few things into the ground today, a person after my heart. I have been planting vegetable starts in the house for about 8 weeks now, and cant wait for the weather here in Oregon to get warm, so i can transplant them all outside. I live in a 5th wheel, and have run out of space, to transplant to larger pots as things run away with wonderful growth. I have gotten my peas, in the ground and they are already starting to climb the trellis, the wild flowers are peaking thru the soil, my radishes our up, and the garlic is going wild. this is the first year in many that i have been successful in getting my garlic to break soil so soon. my reading is pretty eclectic, i have just finishd the sequil to the pillers of the earth by ken follet, it was long 1000+ pages but worth every word. i live nora robers, who i am currently trying to read every book she has written, i like to pick an author and read everything they have written, such as stuart woods, james patterson, and so on, when i was in grade school, i read all the elery queen, and carolyn keen mysters i could find. i am retired (early), volunteer as a park host, so i have lots of time to read, sew, and do tradition bead work, excuse me for any poor spelling, i dont see a spell check lol. |

Sounds like you have a beautiful garden! I have peppers, tomatoes and basil sitting on my kitchen table that I started from seed. I need to get them outside and used to the weather. LOL |
