An imaginative satirical novel set in the future in which Plato returns in the future and lectures the inhabitants of London on the meaning of historical developments. It reveals to us how wrong the past was about its own time, and how wrong our own world is about both the past and present. A delightful read.

How could history be misinterpreted from the 38th century? A few misconceptions might result. This novella shows what might happen when erudite academics try to explain the past when the record is incomplete for figures such as Darwin, Freud, or Eliot, as well as the records for the time. Funny, thought-proving satire.
