The last time I looked (this morning) I was 100 something down on the list for this book.  Tonight I get an e-mail saying my wish list request had been filled.  I know these lists sometimes go fast for often requested books but that was like the speed of light, especially since it was on my list for over two months.

Has anyone else had this happen?  Explanation?  Sure wish it would happen with a few others.

Perhaps someone had the book, looked at your WL, saw you had it on your WL, and posted it directly to you. 

Sounds like what Julie said: someone posted it directly to your WL.  Does the name look familiar?  Someone you see on the boards alot, have ordered books from before or have sent books to before? 

I had someone offer me a WL book recently that I knew I wasn't near the top or even close.  I didn't recognize the name at first and then noticed it was someone who had recently ordered books from me.  We actually ended up working out a deal for several other books on her shelf. 

I have several people on my Buddy list because I have a WL book or 2 of theirs in my TBR pile or on my WL. I always ask first before I just go ahead and post.  Just incase they're out of credits or just bought the book somewhere else.

I've had that happen a couple times too. Both times I know someone posted it to my WL but I didn't recognize the name either time.  I wish it would indicate when someone personally has posted it to your list - would be nice to know for sure so a special thank you could go out.
