So, I have several series waiting to be read but I don't know what to dig into next!

I am a huge paranormal fan and have read most of the "classics" such as Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series, J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series, Keri Arthur's Riley Jenson series, Karen Chance's Cassandra Palmer series, Lora Leigh's Breed series, Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire series, C.E. Murphy's Walker Papers series, Kim Harrison's The Hollows series, Tanya Huff's Blood books, Patricia Briggs' Mercedes Thompson series and probably more that I've missed.

Anybody want to help me figure out which to read next? What are your top 3 on my following list?

  • Amanda Ashley's vampire books
  • MaryJanice Davidson's Undead series
  • Jacquelyn Frank's Nightwalker series
  • Lori Handeland's Nightcreature series
  • Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series
  • Katie MacAlister's Aisling Grey series
  • Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series
  • Kimberly Raye's Dead series
  • Lara Adrian's The Midnight Breed series
  • The Immortal series (Jennifer Ashley, Robin T. Popp, Joy Nash)
  • Amelia Elias' Guardians' League series
  • Amy Lane's Little Goddess series
  • Alexis Morgan's Paladins of Darkness series
  • Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series
  • L.A. Banks' Vampire Huntress Legend series
  • C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp's Tale of the Sazi series

And if there's something not on my TBR pile that you think ought to be there, please let me know!!

Thanks in advance guys.  :)

Sherrilyn Kenyon, MaryJanice Davidson, and Nalini Singh are the best on your list, though most of the rest are great as well.

Okay this is hard.  LOL  Too many great series to chose from.

If you want light, breezy, fun.

MJD Undead series and Kimberly Raye's Dead series.

Some serious hotness.

Singh 's series and the Dark Hunters by Kenyon or Adrian Midnight breeds or Morgan's Paladin.

YA Meyers Twilight rocks!

I vote for The Dark Hunter Series but if you don't want to make that much of a time committment just yet, I just finished the Lara Adrian Midnight series and I really enjoyed it.

Okay, I couldn't pick just 3, but this is the order that I would recommend, with the writing getting better (IMO) as you go down the list:

  1. MaryJanice Davidson's Undead series
  2. Lori Handeland's Nightcreature series
  3. Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series
  4. Katie MacAlister's Aisling Grey series

You guys are great, thanks for all the suggestions! I can see that a few series are rising to the top - "the cream of the crop".  :)

Don't know about the others, but these two are both light and fun reads.

  1. MaryJanice Davidson's Undead series
  2. Katie MacAlister's Aisling Grey series

Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series! I am just about , well not really finished  because the series is not done, but I'm 2 books shy of being caught up with the series. Plus I pre ordered Upon The Midnight Clear from B&N! But it won't be sent until October 31 :(  I didn't even like Vampire movies let alone books until I received a damaged one from someone who was giving it a way in the damaged/freebie section... whom I could kiss! I fell in love wit it within the first chapter! I have to say I read all the books out of order because I couldn't get them all in order but It really didn't spoil the books.  Also if you promise to send them all back to me I'll what I have to you so you don't have to wait a million years on the wishlist.

Don't forget Christine Feehans Carpathians - although it's a long series.

I'd definitely go with MJD and Katie MacAlister too, and I just finished Handelands Nightcreature series.

Is Twillight a teen book?  I have heard a lot about it , I loved the JR Ward series, I'm also in the process of starting a new series, I was thinking Lara Adrian.

Simply because she is so cool I vote for Lori Handeland. I sorta feel like I know her because Ive spoken to her through her message boards where she gave advice to writers. They are good books though I think they arent as popular because vamps are more popular than weres.
