Ok, last year i read the best YA book. It was about a girl living with her Aunt. She knocks her Aunt in the head and goes to find her mother. The mother is living in a town where there are these creatures in the inbetween. The mother does not have anything to do with the girl for a good while. The girl threatens to slit her wrists all over the mothers pretty house. Finally they bond. I loved this book and believe there is a part 2 and I cant remember the author or book title.
