Erotic Romance from Maya Banks. Three interrelated stories featuring some D/s or menage. I'd read and enjoyed Sweet Surrender by the same author, and high expectations of this one. I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm sorry to say that I didn't care for this one. The two heroines featured: Kit and Mia are both really young, beautiful, wounded, and in some way unable to take care of themselves. The three men are gorgeous, Dominant and one dimensional, and of course know exactly what the lady needs. The author needs to words other than "mine," and "Baby." The sex scenes are super hot, scorching. The book is probably fair, but I didn't like it.

Good erotica is fun to read. This is a perfect example of a badly written book. The story line (??) was an afterthought, at best barely there to link the erotic scenes. If asked I would guess it had been written by a teenage boy. I didn't get very far before re-listing. Save your book credits for something better than this.

Oh, jeez; where to begin.......... yes, the sex was scorching hot. The three-way between Mac,Kit & Ryder did literally set the sheets on fire. The second story was basically a continuation of the first, with the same characters, but oh, the drama! Who's baby is it? Then a miscarriage, then one of the heros gets shot. Oh, puhleeeeez. I felt like I was reading the script of a soap opera. The same can be said for the third story - over-the-top melodrama; waaaay over-the-top. Ms. Banks has done much better; this was a disappointment for me.

I really liked this book. It was 3 stories that all intertwined the characters. It was a nice HEA for story one and 2 with Ryder, Kit and Mac. The third story brought in the character Mia who was friends with Ryder. I didn't like her character as much as the others but thought this was a good read. Love Maya Banks books in general so this was not dissappointing.

I really enjoyed this book. It is broken down into 3 stories but they tie into each other. The 1st two are great love stories of childhood friends. Two guys one girls. Two had a really bad childhood and were always there for each other. When the two men return to town as adults, she has been raped and is being stalked. The alpha males try to protect her. Maya Banks does an amazing job of taking you along with them as they each fall deeper in love. This book has it all, great sex scenes with the three of them filling her every fantasy and some scary scenes with the nut that is chasing her. The 3rd story is a really good alpha story that closes out the friend that is touched on throughout the 1st two stories.

Banks' writing style doesn't work for me. I don't find her descriptions of the sex scenes very sexy, the storyline is OK but not enough to carry a book whose main objective is to be sexy. Not very sexy plus boring story = don't bother. I'll re-list this before I finish reading. Try Emma Holly if you need a super hot menage story.
