So well timed was the death of financier Rex that suspects and motives appeared abound within the l;avish walls of Yewtree Lodge. On closer inspection, the murder seemed without rhyme or reason, until the deceptively meek Miss Marple discovered a rhyme....within the killers shocking plot!

Another delightful Miss Marple mystery! It made my head spin all the twists and turns!

The clue to a triple murder appears to be buried in a not-so-innocent children's verse. It's up to sleuth Miss Jane Marple to decipher the rhyme and reason behind the crime in what the New York Times has hailed as "the best of the novels starring Miss Marple."
