I have about 15-20 of these brand-new, hot off the press books:

"Pocket Guide to North Carolina Criminal Laws: Selected Criminal Laws and Spanish for Law Enforcement"

These books are published each year & are designed for law enforcement officers to carry with them on patrol. They are great for quick reference guides to common laws with statute # & description. 288 pgs. Retail $8.49.

These are 1 credit each and are new.

Pocket Press uses the same ISBN # every year, so the ISBN comes up in the system as 2005 edition. ISBN: 978-1-884493-81-2

Please PM your address & buddy credit(s). Thanks! Rita.

Makes a great gift! --Perfect to help young people (and us old fogies, too!) learn about the law. Great for anyone who works with the criminal system. Wonderful door prizes or freebie gifts for groups, too!

We just had a big event for foster youth last week, and we got these books donated from the publisher. We had a few left over, so I am offering them here so that I can request other books that I regularly give out to foster teens & foster parents. If you have any of the following books, I'd be happy to do a trade with you (They don't need to be postable condition--just readable. --I usually don't get these returned, so I'm always looking for more copies):

He's Just Not That Into You by Greg Beherendt

Toxic Parents by Dr. Susan Forward

1-2-3 Magic or Surviving Your Adolescents by Dr. Thomas Phelan

The Ritalin-Free Child

Where's Mom Now That I Need Her or Where's Dad Now That I Need Him

A Pocket Guide to Independent Living

A Kid's First Book About Sex by Joani Blank

Tightwad Gazette by Amy Daczyn

I know there are a few more. I'll have to check my bookshelf in my office & will add the other titles soon. I'm a boxer, so I'm always looking to do trades through there with these titles, too. Thanks! Rita.

PS--If you have other titles you think I could use & haven't discovered yet, PM me! :0)

Here's a few more I try to keep stocked:

It's Called A Breakup Because It's Broken Greg Berendt

The Female Body: An Owner's Manuel by Caroline Saucer & Elisabeth Torg

The Male Body: An Owner's Manuel by Kenneth Winston Caine & Perry Garfinkel
