This slim book is a great way to introduce poetry to children. It features narritive poems, free verse, rhyming poems, concrete poems, limericks and haiku. The best reason to get this book is for Edgar Allen Poe's poem, Annabel Lee, which is so beautifully haunting that it could inspire anyone to try writing their own poem.
