I love it here, I truly do, but....... Am I the only one who wishes this site would spruce up a bit with a better homepage?  It is the same old page that comes up when you are thinking about signing up..........just a suggestion~

I never ever see the homepage.   I have my watched discussion  page saved on my icon bar and just click there.   It takes me to my watched discussions first and then I go from there to wherever I need to go.   I don't think I've seen the homepage in months except when I first sign on at a different computer.  

I think in the last newsletter they said they were going to change it soon. 

Personally, I have my account bookmarked and almost never see the home page.

They just changed the homepage like 6 months ago.

I thought it was  more then 6 months ago, but i don't remember dates real well.  It took awhile to get all the the bus out when they last revamped it.

If i log on with Firefox, I go to google and if I log on with IE then I go to my banking web page......THEN I go to PBS!

Im pretty sure they changed it in the winter so I guesstimated 6 months.

I never see the home page, either. I'm bookmarked to my account. They're always changing things around here, though, generally for the better, so it's probably on a list somewhere.

I think they try to be aware that not everyone has a new computer and/or a high-speed connection, so there are some areas that could be flashier that are fairly spare for those of us on dial-up or, like me, stuck with a 10 year old computer.

I would really like it if it automatically took me to my account page instead of the introductory page. It would make a lot more sense. I'm already a member, so I don't need the introduction that is intended to get people to join.

Zoe all you have to do is bookmark your account page then you will never hafta see the homepage again.

Wish they'd let us design it.  I can't bookmark my account page. too many people use my compy.

I haven't even seen the homepage in months...I also have my bookmark set to my account page so that's what I see when I check in.

How do you create a "watched discussions page"?   Can't say that's something I ever thought of but it seems like a great idea--and I have no idea how to do it.
