Paul Maier does not disappoint. He is a professor of Ancient History. In addition, he does extensive research about his subjects through historical documents of the time. Exellent reading! Gives you a glimpse into the life of Pilate, even when you know it's fiction! D.

A well written novel. Its attempts to get close to a Biography but with little known of the man has to fill in. A Great adventure story.
