It was very good, but I didn't realize until the end that there were 2 parts and I only recorded part 1.  Now I have to wait until Dec 31 when it's replayed.

Did anyone see this?  What did you think of it?

LOL  That will work!

Donna is it subtitled?  Is it true to the book?  Is it even based on the book?

It's in English.  It says it's based on the book by Donna Woolfolk Cross, which I haven't read, so I don't know how closely it follows the book.  There is an interesting article by the author at Amazon.

I SEE NOW THAT IT COMES ON REELZ ON SAT, DEC 31 AT 3 AND 5 PM, CT

AND

JAN 1 AN 9AM AND 11AM CT

DOES EACH PART (1 AND 2) LAST 2 HOURS? SHOULD I RECORD THE 3PM AND 5PM?

THANKS AGAIN!! IT SOUNDS GOOD WITH JOHN GOODMAN.

I see that is not yet available on Netflix, but I reserved just in case I miss it on Reelz.  Netflix says it is in GERMAN, but with all American actors????

I think you need to record one on each day.  Part 1 on 12/31 and part 2 on 1/1.  The movie is in English.

I happened to catch it by accident--I thought each segment was 3 hours  -- 8-11pm. It is definitely in English, very well done and very faithful to the book. I thought it was terrific and really enjoyed it.
