My bookshelf is on hold right now but I have a book that is WL'ed is it possible to list just that book without taking my whole bookshelf off hold??

Not exactly, but you should be able to get a similar effect.  If, while on Vacation Hold, you place a bookshelf hold on each book except the one you'd like to post, and then remove the Vacation Hold, only that book should find its way into the system.  Then, once it's been offered, you can put your account back on Vacation Hold.  At least I think that's how it works.  I know another member did something similar recently; I'll look for that thread and post a link here if I can find it :)

eta: here it is :)  I think the member who started that thread used pretty much the same method you'd be looking to employ.  Let us know if it works!

But if you post the book, then take your account on and off hold quickly, it's unlikely any WL offers or other book requests will come to you.  Your shelf just needs to be off vacation hold to get the book to the first person in line.

You could do this, but you'd lose your spot in the FIFO line for every book you put an individual hold on.
