If you have developed a relationship with another user who knows what kinds of books you like, and they find something you want and would like to mail it directly to you, is it possible to do that through the system?

For example, if someone received a book from me and commented that she is looking for the rest of the series, and I have the rest of the series but haven't posted it yet, can I post it directly to her so that she'll get the whole series in one package from me (saving me postage and saving her trouble/time/frustration of waiting for her wishlist number for each book to come up separately)?

I could just mail them to her and have her buddy me the credits, but I would rather have the protection of the PBS system for ensuring that the person's credit is paid when the book is received, etc.  I do want this set of books to go to this one person.

Excellent question!!!  I was just wondering the same thing myself !!

Yes you can. If it is a WL book, go to the buddy's WL and use the Post This Book button there. Make sure you don't click into anything, but stay on their wish list. You should see the member's name on the screen, I believe its on the right hand side of the screen towards the top. If it is not a WL book, then you post it to your shelf and they can order it directly from there.

What Melanie said, and Kendra is correct about the pop up...something like 'you have posted this book to cousin lucy'.  As already mentioned, be careful NOT to actually click on the book itself and post, as this would send your book into FIFO.
