I received this book as a gift, only to find out it was not new when I received it. Anyway, just finished reading it and it appears that there are a lot of people that have this book on their wish list, so was wondering if I could post it. This is the only page that is torn like this. Thanks for your advice.

I'm thinking no because the guidelines say no missing or torn pages.

I thought it might have been okay since it is not on a printed page.

I would err on the side of caution and not post it.  The guidelines say that there can be writing on the non-text pages, but I think tears (more than 1 inch) would be breaking the posting guidelines.

You might be safer offering it as a freebie with another order from your shelf... or if its in really high demand.. offer it as a freebie with two normal orders off your shelf.

Thank you Lita, that's great advice. I appreciate it. How would I describe that? Spine torn? Or non-text page torn?

I might say "tear on one page before the title page"
