I have a book that I'm unsure if it meets postability requirements.  It's a book with silvered printing on the front cover that is almost worn/buffed away.  This is the only thing "wrong" with it and is in otherwise perfect condition.  I'm asking because there is currently 1 wisher for this book and wouldn't want to have the requester be disappointed.  Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks!

ETA: this is what the book looks like.

Sounds postable to me, but if you're concerned you can always pm the requestor and check.  Just make sure to put a time limit on a response - something like "If I don't hear back one way or the other by __________, I will go ahead and mail the book out."

It should be postable -- I just received one that like today, where the gilding on the front lettering was worn away.  Unless the book is "excessively worn" or there is other unpostable damage, nothing in the condition guidelines makes it unpostable.

I agree that it sounds postable.  If someone has a "like new" requestor condition, you would decline it.

I agree it is postable as well. It's always nice to let the wishlisting person know if it concerns you but it's not necessary.

I decided to post the book.  It's now waiting on 48 hour accept.  My question now is, should I send a PM with pic link before the person accepts or wait for them to accept and then maybe send the the pic link to see if the wear is acceptable to them?

I do not think you need to PM. But if you choose to do it, I would accept the request, make sure to pick the longest mailing date possible, and in your PM, tell them you will wait to hear from them before you mail the book, and if they don't respond to the PM before "xx/xx/xx" you will be cancelling the request. And, then cancel if you don't hear from them.
