Topic: Can you only post a wish list book to a buddy if you skip fifo

I want to post a book directly to someones wish list. Do they have to be a buddy if I skip FIFO? I am a BIG fan of FIFO, but there is a person on this site who is so helpful and nice, I would really like to send them a book I have. How would you go about that? This person is not my buddy. I know this has been addressed before but I put how do you post to wishlist in search forum, got several pages posts lol!!

Go to the person's WL and find the book. You have to click post this book while in their WL not in book details. When you hover over Post this book it will say that you are posting to this member. It should also tell you after you click post this book. I hope this make sense, I'm not very good at explaining things ETA: I guess I should have said that they do not have to be on your Buddy list, just make sure you're on their WL when you post Last Edited on: 7/21/09 1:59 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

And if their WL is set on private or hold, then you can't. If they turn it down or if it times out, it will then go to FIFO. |

I have my WL set for viewing by buddies only, so it depends on her settings. |
