I recently grabbed two books from my library that, upon closer inspection, have some damage to them. One has seperated from its spine somewhat, but would be very easy to fix. The other has some noticeable water damage - nothing worse than a small section of wrinkled pages, is all. Still in perfect shape otherswise, and very readable. Normally I wouldn't post these books, because of my uncertainty, but the first book has just under 50 people wishing for it, and the second has 15 people wishing for it. What would you guys with these books? |

Both books are not postable. The posting guidelines say no water damage and no seperation of the pages and the spine. You could always offer them as a freebie with another order from your shelf. |

Thank you for the info, Layne! If I decide to offer them as freebies, the correct place to post about them would be in the Bazaar, is that correct? |

HI Rachel, yes you are right, you can offer them in the Damaged Book thread in the Book Bazaar for a no strings attached offer, or you can offer them as free with an order in the Book Bazaar. They just are not postable for credits on your shelf. Cheryl |

Rachael, there is a thread in the book bazaar for books that are damaged, to send out as freebies. I got rid of a few W/L books that way that were not postable. |

I've always just posted them in my signature and gotten rid of them that way. But if you don't post that often then I'd go to the book bazaar. Offer to send one free with an order from your shelf. |
