I have an older (1991) paperback that is wishlisted - I'd like to clarify whether it is in postable condition (before I list it). Overall. the book is in reasonable condition, spine crease - but no breaks, normal war & tear etc. But, the cover & spine has been reinforced with clear packaging tape. Is this book postable? TIA for all advice & comments. |

Are you sure it is packing tape and not the stuff libraries put on to reinforce paperbacks? Packing tape on a book cover, though not very pretty and maybe a little weird, does not make a book unpostable. Look the book over carefully though because taping an unpostable tear does not make it postable again so you don't want it covering up cover damage. |

Yep, postable, unless it is covering up an unpostable tear (larger than 1 inch), like Melanie says. |

If you are worried about it-you can always offer it up for a credit in the book bazaar and explain the issue. Then a wisher that doesnt' mind might see it and you can post it right to them with no worries. Also the genre board for the book might have an Is This On your WL thread that you can list it in. This is what I do when I have a borderline book or a slightly damaged book. |

Or if you feel like it's postable you can post it, and then PM the wish-lister before you accept to tell them the exact condition. |
