I have some teacher activity/ unit studies books that I used when teaching. They are in great condition except for a last name written on the front cover. Are these postable?

I'm sure they must be if they meet all the postability conditions.

They are postable.  Here's a link to the help docs that address this issue.

Based on the conditions as referenced in last forum post, NOTHING may be written on the OUTSIDE cover.  Inside the cover and flyleaf may have names, dates, inscriptions, but not cover nor test pages.

NOTHING may be written on the OUTSIDE cover

That is not true. There is no rule against writing on the outside of a book. In fact, it is specifically allowed on the page edges. Writing on the cover is only unpostable if it would make the book fall into the "otherwise not in good condition" rule. For example, I've seen used books with sharpie prices written on them ... this is postable.

Writing is not allowed on text pages ... unless you PM the requestor of the book, who must respond with an acceptance of the writing before the book is mailed.

Stamps and stickers are also allowed on the cover, or inside the book but not on text pages.
