I rec'd this message from a PBSer This is a new basically unread (except for about 3 pages) book. However, after purchasing it, my daughter wrote her name on the first (title) page. It does Not block any print and takes up an area of about 1"x1" near the top of the page. Would that still be alright. As I said, other than this is a new book.
Thanks |

No the title page is not a text page. Yes, the book is postable, whether or not you believe the title page is a text page. Last Edited on: 12/6/11 8:22 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

What Fara and Sara said -- From the "postability" help doc: No writing or highlighting or underlining on text pages
It doesn't specifically say that anything other than an author's siggie is okay on the title page, but the title page is not a text page, so IMHO, you're fine. |

whether or not you believe the title page is a text page I didn't know if it was concerned a text page or not that is why I asked. Thanks for the answers. I tell her it's okay to send. |

whether or not you believe the title page is a text page I didn't know if it was concerned a text page or not that is why I asked. Well ... some people think that the title page IS a text page, some don't. PBS has never clarified their definition of "text page" as far as I know. I was just saying that regardless of whether it is a text page or not, it is generally considered OK for it to have writing on it. |
