One is titled "La Bourse ou la Vie" and I don't speak a lick of french so I can't tell you what that means or what it's about, but I typed up the description from the back cover (in french) as best I could minus accent marks on my booklist!! 

The other is a children's Winnie the Pooh book--might be great for someone trying to learn the language, my brother learned japanese mostly from children's books!!  :)
