I have 2 wonderful Church/Community Cookbooks that I've gotten at FOL sales.

    One is " Fashions in Cooking" from the Woman's Club of Garner, NC.  It's got some terrific Southern recipes as well as time honored traditional food. It includes some sketches of ladies in high fashion through the ages, and the Ladies' Club mixed the old and new into their recipes as well.  I thought it was charming and showed the signs of the times (1977) that all of the women had their credits under the recipes as "Mrs John Smith" with thier given name underneath.

  The 2nd is Feast of Goodness from the Heart of Bethany Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in High Point, NC.  Another wonderful book of recipes shared by the community of  this church.
