I just posted several books that don't have ISBNs and have others that I don't have time to do a non-ISBN post for right now. Since I think the ones posted without ISBNs may be a little harder to spot, I thought I'd give them a little more visibility by putting a message up here. All of the paperbacks are available three for one, as well as the small Mary Poppins hardback. They're from the sixties and early seventies and are in good to excellent condition. A few are like new in spite of their age, others have some signs of age such as (minor to severe) page yellowing or minor cover damage; they're all postable--I just don't have time to do it. Ask if you want more information. The books just posted are:

  • Mary Poppins, P. L. Travers - a small hardback published in 1962, in like new condition!
  • The Egoist, George Meredith - inside of the book is in perfect condition (very small print!), the cover is a little "grayed" from dust and there are a couple of small creases on the back cover.
  • Eleanor the Queen, Norah Lofts
  • Daniel Martin, John Fowles

I also have all the following books lacking ISBNs available. Let me know if you want any of them and I will post them (or just send them out if part of a deal):

  • Black Narcissus - Rumer Godden
  • Zelda, Nancy Milford
  • Butterfield 8 - John O'Hara
  • Nine Plays by Eugene O'Neill (hardbound)
  • Nerve - Dick Francis
  • The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger
  • Scaramouche - Rafael Sabatini
  • The Poems of Catullus
  • Homer and the Heroic Tradition - Cedric H. Whitman
  • Washington Square - Henry James
  • The Hobbit - J. R. R. Tolkien
  • The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald
  • King, Queen, Knave - Vladimir Nabokov
  • Murder Must Advertise - Dorothy L. Sayers
  • Six Elizabethan Plays - edited by R. C. Bald
  • The Harrad Experiment - Robert H. Rimmer
  • Sound and Sense: An Introduction to Poetry - Laurence Perrine
  • The Divine Comedy - Dante Alighieri
  • The Ballad of the Sad Cafe and Other Stories - Carson McCullers
  • Goodbye, Columbus - Philip Roth
  • Can This Marriage Be Saved? - Dorothy Cameron Disney and Paul Popenoe
  • In the Service of Their Country: War Resisters in Prison - Willard Gaylin, M.D.
  • Susanna Haswell Rowson, America's First Best-Selling Novelist - Ellen B. Brandt (hardbound)
  • The Inheritors - William Golding (hardbound)
  • In Wilderness Is the Preservation of the World - Eliot Porter

Ask about deals on the other books on my bookshelf!
