I just posted a paperback copy of Twilight ... none of the ISBN numbers are the same as those that are on the members' wish lists; the numbers are: 0-316-03838-7 and 978-0-316-03837-9.  It is the version that was published in 2008 ... It has "Now a Major Motion Picture" on the front cover.  You can look at my bookshelf to see the front cover of the book.

Thought I'd list it here as it probably won't be picked up on the Wish Lists in case someone is interested.

Subject: Why aren't you listing this under the wishlist thread?

Okay, I see you are new.   But why not under the thread that is designed for this type of stuff?

>>> From Help Center >>>>

We ask that members give thought to the appropriateness of their topic for the forum in which they post. It works best for everyone if questions are posted in Questions About PaperBackSwap, USPS issues are posted in USPS Postal Regulations, games are confined to Games, etc. Topics advertising your bookshelf should NOT be started in any forum but the Book Bazaar. Keeping "deals" and the like confined to the Book Bazaar not only unclutters the other forums, but also allows members who post deals to be sure that their deal is seen, and members who seek deals to find them. We have created enough forums to allow a place for anything our members might like to discuss.

>>>>>>>

As a compromise to allow offers to be posted inside a topical discussion forum, some have one or two specific threads for books available/deals. I haven't seen the stated rules change yet allowing that, but everyone seems to have accepted the practice. Here in Paranormal, we have ***Paranormal Book Deals***  as a pinned thread at the top and [Month] Wishlist Books Available thread that gets started each month.

It's not a WL book.

I'm sorry.  I didn't know there was a  "thread for this type of post," although I have tried to read through a lot of the different posts and forums and threads in order to get the general idea of how to do things.

 I am sorry that I posted this in the wrong place.  I certainly will not do this in the future. I was just thinking that since there were several requests for this book with different ISPN numbers that someone might want it.  I did not mean to step on any toes or post this in the wrong place.

I appreciate your letting me know that I was in error.  I certainly do want to learn the right way to do things.  I enjoy this site very much.

I don't mean to scare you off.  Just that we have another thread venting that folks are posting like this instead of in the designated threads.  Another thing to try is to go to the Wait Listed copy and place a tag that the books is also availible under your ISBN.  The system is suppose to link the different numbers of the same book.  It would show up as green and red links below the book description.  But it doesn't always work.

Oh, you didn't scare me off.  I was just devastated that I had posted in the wrong spot.  I have really tried to read through the Tips to Newbies, etc. trying to get the feel of everything.  I did take it as constructive criticism.

Thanks for the tip on the "tag" ... I've been trying to figure out what that was for...LOL

I will try that..

Thanks.  I do appreciate your letting me know that I was in the wrong place.  <smile>
