How can I post a book and make sure someone on my buddy list gets it.

If you're talking a Wish List book, the book needs to be on their Wish List for you to do it.  Then, when you go to their Wish List you can post the book to them the same way you'd request a book directly from their shelf, by clicking the Post This Book on their Wish List.  I feel like I'm doing a lousy job of explaining so here's the document from the Help Files lol:  Can I post a book directly to someone's Wish List?

If you don't want your buddy to have to use a credit and would just like to mail him or her a book for free, then this link is more appropriate:  Can I send a book to a friend/alternate address?

Hope that helps :)

If it's a WL book-make sure of 2 things: that your account is not on hold and that you are posting it from their WL and not the book description page.  If your account is on hold, when you unhold it, it'll put it to FIFO.  If you post from the book description page-it'll go to FIFO.

When you post it directly to a WL it says "You are posting this book to <name>".  I don't know if it always did, since I posted my first to-a-specific-WL book recently, but I thought it was a nice touch.
