Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum, but not to PBS. I crochet, so a friend dropped off a bunch of craft books and leaflets for me to use or share. I don't have experience using or posting leaflets, so here are my questions: Can I post craft leaflets on PBS? Are some of them (5-6 magazine-sized pages) to small to post? Since they don't have ISBNs, do I have to post using the "no isbn" feature, even if they have been posted before, and are in the system because someone previously posted the same title, author, and publisher using the "no isbn" feature? I prefer my transactions to go through PBS if possible, so I don't just want to list them in the Deals sticky above. I'd be grateful for your advice, thanks! Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth, According to the posting guidelines, leaflets, pamphlets and booklets can NOT be posted at PBS. They are specifically listed under items that cannot be swapped at PBS. The exception is if they have an ISBN- those can be posted, as long as the number of pages is included in the description information. It sounds like the ones you have do not have ISBNs, and that they are fewer than 50 pages long, so they would not be postable here. For details, see the Help Center, under "what can be posted for swapping here". I believe you are allowed to offer leaflets, booklets or pamphlets as a freebie with an order from your shelf, so that is an option. I would advertise this in your signature, as well as in the Book Bazaar and in this (crafts) forum. Lesley |

you may wish to contact pbs on that! I have posted those in the forum before and contacted tour guides who checked into it with the pbs administrators and got back to me i and told me it was ok to post those in a forumn as long as you are clear about no isbns and number of pages, descriptions, etc....have never had a problem doing that. |

Thanks to both of you for responding. I did notice several posting in the deals sticky for leaflets, I may pursue that. So far, I've just posted the few that have isbns, some of which were WL'd. I wonder if PBS would let us have an ongoing dedicated thread for posting leaflets? Elizabeth |
