I am fairly new to Paperbackswap.com and I have successfully ordered books and had books ordered from me.  So far, so good... :)

But now after cleaning up my house... I have a TON of books to post.   I want to post a deal... I have 10 books of a series (though one is an unpostable) and want to post it for only a few credits.  Would this work under the same method as a 2 for 1?  Where I post everything on my bookshelf and have someone order, for example 4 books then just send the rest?

I also noticed the system has a "give credits" button.... so I am a little at a loss for how to go about this.... Any suggestions would be great!

You can go to the Bazaar and post what you have and what you want for it.  Like a 10 book set for 5 credits, note #5 is unpostable because.....

They can then buddy you the credits, OR, you can post the first volumes and have them order them the regular way and you just send along the rest.

To send credits, I believe someone has to be your buddy.  Pull up their profile and click the buddy button and and invitation will be sent to them from the system.  They can accept or not.  If they accept they will be on your list and you can send them credits that way.  Now, I could be wrong about one having to be your buddy for you to send credits.

Maybe you just need to pull up their profile and the give credit button will be there on anybody.

Actually you can now "Give Credits" to anyone who has a profile, so since you have already made one Tammy, whoever accepts your Deal can give you the extra credits by going to your profile. Welcome to PBS!

If you decide to post the books on your shelf, only post the ones that are postable and you can run a deal asking 2 for 1 or whatever and mention you have an unpostable book to send along for free.

Post whatever books are postable or how ever many you need to post to cover he credits you want.  (if you're doing 3 for 1 than post 1)  Then start a thread in the Book Bazaar saying which series and which books of the series you have and what deal you're offering them for-3 for 1, 5 for 3 or whatever.  List which on is unpostable and what's wrong with it in the thread and that's it's also a freebie.  Tell people to pm you w/the ones they've ordered and the ones they want as a freebie.  Make sure none are WL first. Then when someone takes you up on the order-update the thread so other people know that they're taken.
