it is allowable to post a deal on romance books in this forum, or can they only be posted in the bazar?

There is a sticky thread (the red one called Book Deals, Offers, Bookshelf Promotions) at the very top of this forum. You can add a post to that thread.

Or you can post a new topic in the Book Bazaar. On the other hand...

If the books you plan to post are books that are wishlisted and there are no other copies available in the system, you can add a post to the "Is This On Your Wishlist?" topic in this forum. DO NOT POST THOSE BOOKS BEFORE giving forum buddies a chance to request them from you (your copy would anonymously go to the 1st person in line, negating the purpose of the thread). The advantage for you in posting to the topic first is that you'll frequently find forum buddies who want more than one book. They pay 1 cred per book just like a request from your shelf would, but you'll save on postage shipping 2 or more to one address.

There are "hall monitors" who might report you to the PBS people if you post a new topic advertising in any forum other than the Bazaar. It is against the rules, but more importantly, our forums for book discussions would start looking like the Book Bazaar. crying

Thanks for asking first,

Colleen

Thanks.  I haven't been in this forum much because my reading tastes have changed, but I have a lot of romance novels that I'm willing to do deals on to get out of my house (gotta make room for more!!).  I wanted to check to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules before I did anything!
