I just noticed this morning that I can no longer post directly to someone's wish list. Did this function get deleted in the latest update? I would hate that!! I usually use FIFO, but there is a series or two that a couple of us swap up always. What is up?

Does the person you're trying to post to have their account on vacation hold? If that is the case, you won't be able to unless they take their account off hold.

Other than that, no idea...I haven't tried to use that feature for quite awhile.

No, they don't. I check a couple of my buddies, and the POST BOOK link is no longer on their wish lists.

Weird, I checked some more and it is on some and not on others..... maybe a glitch in the upgrades

Weird, I just did a random check on 10 of my buddies' wishlists and the "post book" button is there for all of them.

OK Cheryl, you are so smart, I pm'd one of my buddies, and she does, in fact, have her account on hold. Then I went back and checked the other one. I didn't know to look on their bookshelf to see if it was on hold. I thought it would show up on their wish list. Dummy me......

Yeah I found out recently that the vacation auto request only works if you are #1 (or near the top and the people ahead of you have RCS or don't respond).  But it doesn't work if you are further down the line and someone wants to post directly to you.  I have my account on vacation. I  had an unpostable WL book of a buddies.  I actually had several of her WL books and offered to post one to her and send the unpostable one.  She wanted to return the favor and so I put the WL book of mine she had on autorequest. It would not let her post it to me.  I had gotten other autorequest WL books during that time but it was because I was the only wisher or at the top.

Mary, that's good information.  It's not something that is covered by the help documents.  There are all kinds of things that we learn as we go along.
