I have an unpostable book that I want to post in the unpostable wishlist thread in the bazaar.

I haven't ever done this before, so I have a couple of questions about the process.

If someone's interested and they pm me for it, do I post it to their wishlist? or do I do the mail-to-friend option?

I'm going to be asking for a credit for it, so I'd prefer to do the former, but I don't know if that's allowed.

If it's not allowed, and I have to do the mail-to-friend option, can I still use the PBS postage/DC?

Thanks! :)

If it is an unpostable, I would suggest the "mail to a friend" option or some other arrangement. If you post it to their wish list, technically you are violating the terms of the site and they could turn around and RWAP you. By keeping it out of the posting realm you agree that the site owners will not get involved in the transaction (which are stated in the rules of the book bazaar)-which they generally do not do anyway.

and you can use PBS postage/DC in the mail to a friend option.

The other option is that you could offer the book free with an order from your shelf. That keeps it much cleaner (because they place a regular order from you), and spreads good feelings all around!

When I've done this, I usually give the option of ordering the book for 1 credit, or free with an order from my shelf.  Almost always people opt for the latter, which works out well for everybody.  I've managed to move some books that have been on my shelf for ages that way.
