I know that unpostable wishlist books can be posted to the Book Bazaar and a credit asked for it. Is there a certain thread for it? Or do you just post under your own topic?

I have a book that is wishlisted but only has minor damage to the cover--I think there must have been a sticker on it and when the sticker was pulled off it pulled the top layer of part of the cover so you see white instead of blue. I'm thinking that makes it unpostable unless I'm mistaken?

I usualy start my own thread.  There is one going but in my experience it's not restarted often enough.  I don't want my offer at the end of 300 other offers.

Here is the thread. http://www.paperbackswap.com/Post-UNPOSTABLE-WISHLIST-BOOKS-Here/topic/117610/

Most people view the thread backwards as you "go to the last post" and just look at those recently posted.

How large is the damaged area babs?  I'm not sure what you describe makes the book unpostable.  There's a thread for unpostables in the Book Bazaar, or you can start your own, and some of the genre forums have threads for wishlisted books (and wishlisted unpostables can be posted on those also).

It's longer than an inch--maybe an inch and a half or 2 inches (didn't get a ruler out to measure). It's just like the top layer of the cover is off in that one spot. This is one of those things that I'm not quite sure if it's postable or not although I would always rather err on the side of caution.

I checked ---it's a wishllist book but no one is currently wishing for it.

I have to agree with this. I wish the Unpostable Wishlist thread was restarted every month like the other threads. It's too hard to wade through all the posts on there, and I think new posts are only read when they are on the last page, by people using the "Go To Last Post" button.

babsscifi - How can a book be a wishlist book if it has no wishers? Do you mean it currently has no copies in the system?

Yeah--I thought it was wishlisted however I guess it isn't currently. It was awhile back when I thought of posting it before though!

I believe there's also an "only copy in the system" thread in the bazaar - you could mention it there, and state it's unpostable as you indicate; someone might be interested.
