Revenge, especially on those one loves is a complicated affair.
Vido Pascali, just ozzing sex appeal, [I have yet to meet someone like that] was bound and determined to have his revenge on Anna Willoughby.

Anna Willoughby, 26 and supposedly a virgin, just melts into puddles whenever Vido is around. And she wants him in the worst way never mind that she loathes him. He only wanted her inheritance.

Vido adored Camilla and Anna was sure that he was trying to cheat on her. Never mind that Anna's thinking was all screwed up.

Vido's revenge was to buy Anna's home, seduce her and kick her out. It just never worked out that way. Too many vibes were pulling them together.

Prairie Heat was one of the first of Baker's books that I readand it kept me coming back for more. Every time you figure out whatis going to happen the plot takes a different route. I loved the factthat she showed that love happens no matter how bad you don't want itto. If you are looking for adventure, thrills and of course romancethen this book is for you. A book I recommend and have reread myself.
