That's not a bad price!  Was ordering Gena Showalter's new release and saw that one for 4.99.  Not bad and with Amazon's free shipping I'm a happy girl!

Just thought I'd share!  :)

I can't believe Amazon is still pre-ordering, when Hunting Ground is sitting on the shelves at Walmart and Booksamillion already ...

Becky, it's probably list price ($7.99) plus tax at Walmart. I would order it from amazon if you have amazon prime, I think its worth it since it is now 4.79, no tax....it will ship tomorrow so you'll have it Friday.

*Just ordered mine, thanks! :)

I believe it was $5.97 + tax, (Walmart is usually around $2 off the list price for it's MMP's). I didn't pay too much attention, except that I was surprised to see it out on the shelves already.

Awesome, so not that much of a difference...$1 and change. Mine will be here tomorrow, yeah! My fall semester starts in 2 weeks exactly, I'm trying to read as much as I can for pleasure before then :) lol

Yeah, I got mine at Walmart for 5.97. It was a great book and I didn't have to wait for it. :)

I just got mine at Target, too.  It was 25 percent off the 7.99.

Amazingly, my Wal-Mart was sold out by 7:00 Tuesday night.  I know because I went there right after I got off work, and they were all gone!

Today I am off work, and went hunting, and my Books-A-Million doesn't have any copies, either.

FINALLY found it at Target, and there were only 2 copies left there.  One was all beat up, too.

Totally Off Topic, but Misti P...... Can I just comment on how eerily similar and spooky our names are? lol

I rarely come across another with that name, especially one with same last initial. Sorry guys didnt mean to hijack this thread, I just came in to read it and that caught me off guard. =)

Vicki, glad you were able to find a copy :) Makes me sad when brand new books are all beat up at the store

Rachel, you scored there!

I got mine on Wednesday from Amazon, was so excited to get it and still have not read it yet....haha.

I went to my walart today and they still don't have it or the new Gena Showalter...so I went to k-mart and they only had the Gena Showalter. I live in a small town and we have a bookstore but they don't sell paranormal romance or urban fantasy so I guess I have to order from amazon. : (

Koren

Do you have amazon prime? If not, they have a free month trial right now. Free 2 day shipping on any order.

What is the book selection like at Kmart? I have one in my town too, but don't go there very often....havent checked out the book section yet ;)

My Kmart is really well stocked with the newest paranormals of all kind, even YA. I find books that even my Walmart with more shelfs doesn't have. And they are 25% off retail.

Our k-mart is strange sometimes they have a good selection and some times they flood the shelves with one really poular book. It's an older store and it's sort of small so their book section isn't very big. But some times you can find books there that they don't have at our walmart which is nice, and our k-mart isn't ever as busy as wal-mart seems to be so you don't have to work aroud a lot of other people. I also went to the grocery store (they just added on to the one we go to all the time and now they have a book section almost as big as the one at our wal-mart) but they didn't have it either! Sometimes living in a small town is soooo frustrating!!!!! Amazon it is ... I guess.....didn't want to have to wait on shipping though :  (
